I took part in a fantastic conference with about 100 year 10 students from all over North Somerset.
The main focus of the conference was about "thinking" "group challenges" and "personal learning and thinking skills"
Students were given a wide range of "inputs" starting with a very entertaining keynote by Dave Keeling (a standup educator). Other workshops included working with professional film makers, sound and light technicians, an artist, the juice master, a prof from Bristol University... and more.
At the end of the conference the students made their presentations including A TV advert, a tagline, a presentation on PLTS and a (large) piece of artwork commissioned by North Somerset LA.
Overall a hugely sucessful few days
